Hints and tips on sizing a finger

When should you measure your finger?

Before measuring the finger on which you wish to wear a ring, please ensure the following: 1. Do not measure a finger when it is cold or hot as this can have a significant effect on a ring size. For instance, when your fingers are cold they can be at least half a size smaller. 2. For an accurate reading, measure your finger at the end of the day, when it is larger.

Choosing the correct size

Your ring should fit your finger comfortably. It should be snug enough so that it won't fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle. Do not forget that there are significant differences between the right and left hand. It's also worth bearing in mind that rings with a particularly thick band will feel tighter than a thin band; in these cases, we recommend buying a full size larger than your normal ring size. Please make sure your order the correct size. If you are unsure, you should have your finger sized by a professional jeweller. Eva London will not be held responsible for any ring that does not fit.

The Story of Annotated’s Education Collaboration

Originally created by three friends at the University of Oxford looking for a different, but elegant way to celebrate and cherish their undergraduate memories,

This project goes back to the beginnings of the small design studio that preceded our company.

Since those earliest days, Annotated has stood for the idea that, by making things well, we could imbue our products with a sense of soul. You can feel it the moment you touch one of our Signet rings.

And being the children of university lecturers and teachers it was natural for us to combine this with the notion of celebrating education and studying for its own sake.

Over the years, the Annotated graduation ring has become our definition of one-of-a-kind and bespoke: completely made-to-order in collaboration with its owner and crafted by hand from precious metals.

Whether a graduand is someone who typically is interested in fine jewellery or not.

Please note, custom-made items cannot be returned but can be cancelled within seven days of order confirmation when production is still at an early stage.
